Indian Wells Challenger Kicks Off Month Of Tennis In Desert A prelude to the BNP Paribas Open, an ATP World Tour Masters 1000 event, the Oracle Challenger Series Indian Wells celebrated its inaugural edition in 2018. Nestled in the Coachella Valley in Southern California, the $150,000 tournament is held at the picturesque Indian Wells Tennis Garden. It is the second of six Challenger tournaments in the state of California during the year.
